Andhra Pradesh: Woman found abusing minor girls using sex toys, husband leaps to death

VIJAYAWADA: A 47-year-old man in Andhra Pradesh’s Ongole town leaped to his death from a three-storey building after his wife was accused of sexually abusing minor girls. According to police, the wife dressed up as a man and abused the minor girls using sex toys.
During a raid at the house on Friday, cops also found some of the sex toys in a large bag. While the cops were quizzing the couple, the man ran to the top of the building and jumped.He was rushed to a private hospital where he died in the evening.
The case came to light after a 17-year-old girl filed a complaint at Prakasam district superintendent of police’s office. She alleged that she was sexually abused by a man named Krishna Kishore Reddy. When Prakasam SP Sidharth Kaushal ordered an inquiry, cops were surprised to find out that Krishna Kishore was none other than the 32-year-old woman dressed as a man.
Ongole DSP B Ravi Chandra told TOI that the woman, who liked wearing men’s clothes and kept her hair short to look like a man, had been married twice before. She had left her village in 2016, found her way to Ongole and married the 47-year-old man that year. According to Ravi, she would get acquainted to minor girls and allegedly trap them into starting an intimate relationship with her.
Police said that the woman had planned to stay with the 17-year-old girl in the same house with her husband. She even convinced a 28-year-old male friend and the minor girl to stage a fake marriage. They then approached the police for protection from the minor’s parents. But the police handed the girl to her parents as she was a minor.
When the parents came to know the entire story, they approached cops. Officials said that the minor still believes that the woman and Krishna Kishore are two different people.
The woman has been arrested under sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
