VIJAYAWADA: Telangana MLA and former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said he would lead the BC and Yadava communities in AP. Addressing a press meet in Vijayawada on Thursday, he said a ‘Yadava BC Garjana’ would be held in Guntur on March 3.
He alleged that the TDP government harassed his supporters when he visited Vijayawada during Sankranti. “The AP police tried to stall my press conference and threatened organisers.
The intelligence department threatened Haiiland management for giving me accommodation,” alleged Yadav.
“Criticism is quite common in politics, but Naidu is not able to tolerate it. Naidu and Balakrishna toured my constituency and worked to defeat me. And now they are trying to obstruct my tours in AP,” he added.
Yadav alleged that Naidu’s ‘Jai Ho BC’ meeting was an eyewash after his visit to Kanakadurga temple in January. “The political situation in AP is not fair and the corporations set up by Naidu are not effective. The Yadava federation has been turned into a corporation on the eve of the elections. NCDC sanctioned ₹100 crore for the Yadava community and asked the government for a guarantee but the AP goverment did not give it. Dairy farmers are fighting for survival, but Heritage is making huge profits. Yadava and other BC communities are fed up with this government,” he said.
