In another tweet, the CM mentioned, “We are also thankful to Respected Lata Didi for the contribution of ₹11,00,000/- (₹11 lakh) towards #CMReliefFund #MaharashtraFloods.” Time and again, the relief measures and various portals to donate have been popularised by Bollywood stars.
And these contributions go a long way in encouraging other people to follow the footsteps of their favourite stars, and donate for a cause.
