BSEB has implemented a 50% objective and 50% subjective question formula since 2018 which has resulted in improving the pass percentage.
Once the results are released, candidates are advised to take a print out of the Bihar Board class 10 result for future reference.
The Bihar class 10th result 2020 will be uploaded online on the official portals of the Board — biharboardonline.in and biharboardonline.gov.in. Once the results are released, students can check the result from these websites by entering their hall ticket number.

Bihar students and lockdown
Bihar students are the luckiest one as they don't have to wait to complete their board examinations. However, they waited for their Board results to declare. Bihar, probably is the only state in the country who had completed their Board papers before imposing the Covid-19 lockdown. Lockdown & results
India imposed Covid-19 locked on March 24 and since then lockdown is going on. The fourth instalment of the lockdown imposed on May 18 allowed several relaxations but the education sector continues to be shut, forcing schools and colleges to continue the process of learning online. There are still no signs of opening the institutions, schools and colleges.
BSEB had completed the evaluation of 75% of answer sheets before the lockdown announced by the government.
This year, BSEB had announced intermediate results in a record time.
After the announcement of Bihar board 10th result 2020, BSEB will allow candidates to apply for scrutiny of answer sheets. The dates and other details of the same would be intimated later.

The board had occupied more rooms at each evaluation centre as all the schools were closed due to the lockdown. Teachers had kept two metres distance from each other while evaluating the answer sheets.

BSEB Class XII Result 2020
Earlier on March 24, despite the pandemic situation due to Covid- 19 spread, the BSEB had declared the intermediate results of all streams (science, commerce and arts) in a record time. The overall pass percentage has registered at 80.44%, number of students who cleared the class XII examination has slightly improved by 0.68% in comparison to last year’s 79.76%. Last year, the results of intermediate was declared on March 30.

In 2019, the Bihar Board had recorded a pass percentage of 80.73% in class X. The pass percentage of students had gone up by 11.84% in compared to 2018’s 68.89%. Total 13,20,036 candidates had cleared the exams while 3,14,813 students flunked in the examinations.Last year, the performance of boys was better than girls as they bagged top three positions. Sawan Raj Bharti of SAV, Jamui was declared as the topper in class X examination with 97.2%. He was followed by Rounit Raj of the same school with 96.6% while the third topper Priyanshu Raj of SAV, Jamui scored 96.2%.
