In the first office-bearers' meet since the electoral setback, party leaders finalised a series of events for the next three months, which will see Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP chief travelling to various parts of the country and holding public rallies and addressing party cadres.

NEW DELHI: BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday interacted with national office-bearers, including state presidents and general secretaries (organisation), to chalk out strategy for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, two days after the verdict in the recent assembly polls in which the party lost power in three states.
In the first office-bearers' meet since the electoral setback, party leaders finalised a series of events for the next three months, which will see Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP chief travelling to various parts of the country and holding public rallies and addressing party cadres.

BJP general secretary Bhupender Yadav shared details of various meetings to be held across the country. These will include a two-day national council meeting on January 11-12 at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi.
The two-day meeting of the Scheduled Caste Morcha, to be attended by Shah on January 19-20, will be held in Nagpur. The Scheduled Tribe Morcha meeting will be held on February 2-3 in Bhubaneswar. Shah, home minister Rajnath Singh, Jharkhand chief minister Raghubar Das and former MP chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the key speakers at 'OBC Morcha' meet on February 15-16 in Patna, the BJP secratary told reporters.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the "Kisan Morcha" meet to be held in Uttar Pradesh on February 21-22 for which the host city is yet to be decided, Yadav said. Prime Minister will also address the "Mahila Morcha" meet at Ahmedabad on December 21-22. Asked as if there was any discussion about the party's defeat in the assembly polls, Yadav said discussions were about Lok Sabha polls and on how to organise the Morcha meets.
