This Ahmedabad cafe will serve FREE chai to all singles on Valentine’s Day

While the cafes and restaurants are busy creating innovative recipes to celebrate the much-awaited valentine’s week, there is one cafe in Ahmedabad that has just announced to celebrate the day in a very interesting way. Prafull Billore, owner, MBA Chai Wala has created an event page on Facebook that says they would serve free Chai to all the singles on Valentine’s Day in Ahmedabad between 7 pm to 10 pm.

MBA Chai Wala is an interesting and lively cafe in Vastrapur, Ahmedabad that is run by Prafull Billore, an MBA dropout. He says, “It all started on the streets of Ahmedabad on 25th June 2017, when I decided to set up a tea stall on a wooden table after two years of struggle to get into the top business schools of India.” He recalls, “The roadside tea stall with an investment of 8000 rupees and a lot of criticism by the relatives and society came into existence in 2017 and since then I have never looked back.” “With time, the business grew and I started selling snacks along with chai and soon I was blessed to establish my own cafe and I decided to call it MBA Chai Wala,” informs Prafull over a telephonic conversation with Times Food.

The 22-year-old Prafull Billore, who is quite observant in life has found that during the Valentine's week, every cafe and restaurant is busy creating ideas and offers to woo couples, but nobody cares for the singles. He adds, “We need to understand that there are people who are single by choice and have all the reason to celebrate the day. For the same, I thought to offer a ‘Free Chai’, to all the single men and women.

Calling it a tough task, Prafull says, “The idea is genuine and unique and I am expecting that people will also be genuine.” He adds, “There is no parameter to judge whether the person is single or not. So, I am looking forward to meeting ‘genuinely single’ people and treat them with our flavourful hot cup of tea.” “To avoid the rush, the offer will be valid only between 7 pm to 10 pm on Valentine’s Day,” he informs.

The cafe serves 35 varieties of chai and snacks dishes like maggi, bun maska, bread butter, sandwich, French fries and much more.
