IIT-Gandhinagar organises open house for JEE aspirants
Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT-GN) recently organized JEE open house sessions in Delhi, Mumbai and Gandhinagar for JEE Advanced qualified students and their parents to address the queries about IIT admission, academic programs, and about IIT Gandhinagar. More than 500 participants, including students and their parents/guardians attended these open house sessions in Delhi, Gandhinagar and Mumbai.
The students and their parents had queries about branch selection, project works, research and higher studies opportunities, possibility of branch change at IIT-GN, dual major program, and other unique initiatives of IITGN.
Director, IITGN, Prof Sudhir Jain and Dean (Academic Affairs), Dean (Student Affairs), Coordinator (Alumni Relations), Associate Dean (Student Welfare), along with faculty, students, and alumni of IITGN guided the participants in various sessions.
Excellent placements, large proportion of students opting for higher studies, student innovations and patents and vibrant startup culture were also highlighted at the open house. Details about the flagship programs at IIT Gandhinagar such as the Foundation Program, Explorer Fellowship, Invent@IITGN were also provided.
