Explore ‘Shiv Dham of Uttarakhand’ with IRCTC for 6N/7D at INR 17525

Uttarakhand is India’s blessed land, and is believed to have divinity dwelling everywhere. This summer, IRCTC wants devotees of Lord Shiva to go on a pilgrimage specially made to suit their budget and comfort.
For all those interested in visiting the Shiva shrines in Uttarakhand, the IRCTC is offering a package called 'Shiv Dham of Uttarakhand'. It will be a 6-night and 7-day tour.

Trip starts from Secunderabad

The tour will cover destinations including Delhi, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Rudraprayag, Chopta and Tungnath. Starting every Friday from the City of Nizams, Hyderabad, this tour will provide Shiva devotees with ample time to absorb the eternal calmness of Uttarakhand mountains.
Mode of travel

All passengers on this tour will travel by train and are free to choose coach type (sleeper or 3 AC), depending on their budget and preference. The package cost covers travel insurance, toll parking of transport vehicle and GST.

A brief itinerary

On the first day, the passengers will reach Delhi and spend the night in the capital. The accommodation and food for the tourists will be arranged by the ones in charge of the tour. The following day, tourists will start for Haridwar via road. As per the itinerary, tourists will spend two days each in Haridwar and Rudraprayag.

How much to pay for this trip?

For single occupancy, the charges for this trip are INR 22473. For double occupancy, the cost of the tour package is INR 18762. In case of triple occupancy, the cost is INR 17525. For children between 5 to 11 years of age, if a separate bed is not needed, the cost of the package will be INR 6763. On the other hand, if a separate bed is needed, tourists will have to pay INR 7876. For children over 11 years of age, the full amount has to be paid by the guardians.

Points to be noted for booking cancellation

• The trip can be cancelled 15 days before the scheduled date of commencement of journey. The charges for cancellation will be INR 100 per passenger.
• On cancellation 8-14 days before the trip, the cancellation charges to be paid is 25% of the total cost.
• On cancelling the trip 4-7 days before the scheduled date, 50% of the total amount will be deducted.
• In case the trip is cancelled 4 days before the commencement of the journey, 100% of the cancellation charge will be applicable.
