Along highway of Seling in Mizoram, many shops without shopkeepers are found without shopkeepers. It is called 'Nghah Lou Dawr Culture Of Mizoram' which means ‘Shop Without Shopkeepers’. Known as Nghah Lou Dawr Culture of Mizoram which translates into Shop Without Shopkeepers, people can take whatever they like and drop the money into the box, revealed the NGO on its Twitter page. Needless to say, this tradition is another example of community effort to uphold the long-standing ancient values.
As expected, the Twitter users have given their thumbs up to this novel concept that aims to encourage kindness, human values and trust in the community.
So, if you wish to visit this amazing destination called Seling to witness it’s unique tradition, you would need to take a transport from Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram. Seling is located 45 km from Aizawl.
