Uttar Pradesh, as a state, is mostly recognised for its religious places, agricultural land, political hub and River Ganga.

Vindham Waterfall

A hypnotic beauty in all the true sense, this waterfall set in Uttar Pradesh’s Mirzapur is quite well hidden from the eyes of travellers. So if you ever decide to go to Mirzapur, which is about 90 km from the city of Varanasi, you must pay a visit to this gorgeous waterfall that will charm you in every possible manner.

Best time to visit it is from October to March.

Sidhnath Dari Falls

Just 14 km from Mirzapur, lies the pretty Sidhnath Dari Falls that is named after one Siddhnath Baba, who used to meditate here. If you plan a visit here, there are several other things for you to explore such as the Shakteshgarh Fort and Jirgo Dam among others. The dam is only a few kilometres from here, and can be explored on the way.

Best time to visit the place is any time between July and March.

Lakhaniya Dari Falls

Lakhaniya Dari Falls is one stunning water body, set about 30 km from the ancient town of Chunar in the district of Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh. To witness the waterfall in all its glory, you must visit here during the monsoons. Pouring from a height of 150 m, these falls make for a pretty enchanting sight. The entire region is covered in huge boulders and rocks and rivulets. You can also go explore the town of Chunar, which is known for its pottery tradition and handicrafts.

Rajdari and Devdari Waterfalls

Around 70 km from Varanasi is a region called Chakiya, where two gorgeous waterfalls are situated, namely Rajdari and Devdari Waterfalls. These two scenic waterfalls are aptly hidden and are quite famous among locals for family picnics. Also, another plus point here is that these are set amidst Chandraprabha Wildlife Sanctuary. Cascading from a height of 65 m, Rajdari Fall is going to charm you with its green surroundings and gushing sound.

These waterfalls are at their best during the monsoons.
