Heavy rains in Odisha, chariots of Jagannath under water

Heavy rains have crippled normal life in many places across Odisha. Many areas of Bhubaneswar and adjoining places are submerged in water, and at many places water has rushed into houses in low-lying areas. Puri is also under water and residential areas are waterlogged and people are forced to stay at home. Chariots of Bhagwaan Jagannath are also submerged in water. Rains are triggered by a low pressure at bay of Bengal. Torrential rains have forced the government to deploy Odisha Disaster Action Force to evacuate people from submerged areas.
