2019 NFL Draft: North Carolina State WR Kelvin Harmon provides second-round option for Titans

With the 2019 NFL Draft now just three days away, the Tennessee Titans are set to make their first selections.

While all eyes will be on what the team does with the No. 19 overall pick in the first round, it’s equally important who they select in the later rounds as well.

One position they could address in the second round is wide receiver. The Titans did a fine job in free agency acquiring slot receiver Adam Humphries to pair with rising star Corey Davis as two important targets for quarterback Marcus Mariota.

North Carolina State’s Kelvin Harmon could provide an option at wideout for the Titans in the second round.

He’s aggressive at the top of his routes, possesses expert ball-tracking ability and finds no struggle with contested catches.

Harmon has been highly successful since the first year of his college career, winning the Philip Rivers award as the top freshman with the Wolfpack, posting five touchdowns on just 27 catches.

He was also second-team All-ACC as a sophomore, and first-team All-ACC as a junior.

The 6-foot-2, 221-pounder recorded two consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, with 69 catches for 1,017 yards and four scores in 2017, and lead the ACC in receiving yards in 2018.

He skipped the team’s Gator Bowl appearance in order to prepare for the draft.

It will be interesting to see if he aligns with general manager Jon Robinson and the Titans’ plans when they take to the draft board on April 25.
