1 arrested in Brampton stabbing

One person was seriously injured after a stabbing in Brampton on Tuesday night.
Peel police responded to a call in the Main and Queen streets area around 8 p.m.
A male victim was taken to a trauma centre. his injuries are considered non-life threatening.
One person has been arrested.
Peel police originally said they were searching for a second suspect but further investigation revealed there was no one outstanding.
UPDATE: investigation revealed only one male suspect involved, no other suspects outstanding.
