Mirror paint, gleaming chrome and suped-up engines will be on display Saturday for the first car cruise to support Ross Township’s Fairview Volunteer Fire Department.

The July 20 rain-or-shine event at the Ross Township Municipal Center runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include music, food, a Chinese auction, raffles and a wide range of collectible and classic vehicles.

There also will be a display of emergency and military vehicles.

The cost to enter a vehicle in one of 11 judged categories in which trophies will be awarded is $10. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 50 cars and goodie bags will be distributed to the first 100 participants.
