Confirmation of Bainbridge Island, Washington-based Mora Ice Creamery’s move to Downtown Summerlin follows news they will be headed into the same building as recently shuttered ice cream shop, CREAM.

Debuting in 2015 and initially generating three-block long lines for its free cookie ice cream sandwich event, CREAM expanded to its still serving Henderson location just eight months later.

With a motto of “Cookies Rule Everything Around Me,” the California-based company operated out of a prominent corner space at 1980 Festival Plaza Drive. While yet to be determined if it is exactly the same footprint, Mora Ice Creamery is moving into the ground floor of the same building.

Also scheduled to take over 1,380 square feet in front of the Double Helix Wine & Whiskey Lounge at Town Square, the “artisanal,” small batch Mora philosophy has created more than 70 potential flavors that can be exported to Las Vegas. “Old world” choices of gianduja, marron glacé, and dulce de leche were inspired by the Argentinan roots of owners Ana Orselli and Jerry Perez.

Announced as “coming soon,” no opening timetable for either Mora store has been revealed.
