Those Guys Pies Reveals When Maui Wowie Pizza Debuts in Henderson

Those Guys Pies, the home of the “Best white pie you’ll ever try” and a spotlighted favorite of Guy Fieri on his Food Network TV show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, is now counting down to its first expansion to Henderson.

Chefs Chris Builder and Roy Bass launched their pizza restaurant at The Lakes in 2012, and now they are announcing their larger, 1,504-square-foot restaurant will be ready and open in November.

The restaurant takes over the shuttered Boss’s Slow Smoked BBQ at the Sunset Ridge Plaza retail center, close to the intersection of Green Valley Parkway and Sunset Road.

Specialists in classic East Coast-style, hand-tossed pizza, Those Guys Pies also offers less traditional choices including a Maui Wowie creation prepared with barbecue sauce, pulled pork, bacon, and pineapple.

Those Guys prepare their own bacon, mozzarella, meatballs, and sausage. The menu also features wings and fingers, loaded fries, cheese steaks, hoagies, and cinnamon poppers or cannoli for dessert.
