Southern-Style Snow Crab and Shrimp Plates Arrive in Spring Valley

Krab Kingz Seafood, specializing in snow crab and shrimp plates generously prepared with garlic and butter sauce, opened in Spring Valley,

The fast-casual restaurant, a growing franchise with locations already open in Texas, Missouri, and Georgia, replaces the shuttered Filipino Carding’s Tambayan at 4180 S. Jones Blvd., close to the intersection with Flamingo Road.

Diners can choose between fried options and the boiled seafood plates that arrive with potatoes, sausage, corn on the cob, and boiled egg. The restaurant also offers lobster as a side dish.

Fried shrimp, fish, lobster tails, and “surf n turf fries” can be upgraded with sides of okra, crab cakes, and extra butter sauce, or for a smaller appetite, Krab Kingz features a series of quick bites, including shrimp tacos, fried corn, and shrimp aand grits.
