Harrah’s Reopens With Most of Its Restaurants Making a Comeback

Caesars Entertainment prepares to open its third casino and resort on the Las Vegas Strip when Harrah’s Las Vegas debuts at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5.

Customers will get a look at Cake Boss Buddy Valastro’s new PizzaCake, a renovated Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, remodeled hotel rooms, and a revamped casino and lobby, all to the tune of $200 million.

Fulton Street Food Hall and Oyster Bar also return with their fare. On the bar side, the party spot Carnaval Court returns, along with Fulton Bar, Signature Bar, Lobby Bar, Starbucks, and the resort’s pool.

Nearby, the Linq Promenade reopened on Thursday, with the High Roller Observation Wheel that anchors the shopping esplanade returning to a noon to midnight schedule.

Restaurants that reopened include Maxie’s, Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar, Flour & Barley Brick Oven Pizza, Haute Doggery, In-N-Out Burger, Off The Strip, Tilted Kilt, Yard House, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, Jaburritos, and Virgil’s Real Barbecue.

Breeze Daiquiri and Ice Bar reopened for drinks, and I Love Sugar reopened its retail candy shop.

Gov. Steve Sisolak closed casinos on March 17 to curb the spread of COVID-19. The Nevada Gaming Control Board issued guidelines to resorts to reopen that include maintaining 50 percent capacity, masks on staff, cleaning protocols, and social distancing throughout the casino. Casinos were permitted to reopen across the state on June 4.
