WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - Gray Collegiate Academy is known for producing some of South Carolina's top basketball talent year in and year out. The War Eagles have sent numerous players to continue their hoop careers at the collegiate level, and they're doing it again.

Chase McDuffie, a rising senior guard, committed to North Carolina A&T on Wednesday. Mcduffie was a key part of the War Eagles' 2020 state championship team, and has been a part of all three title runs during their current three-peat. He says the virtual tour sold him and his family, and this was the historically black college that fit what he was looking for. "It was more like building a strong relationship with the coaching staff, and them building a strong relationship with my parents," McDuffie told WACH FOX Sports. "Family is key to me, for everything."

McDuffie will be featured heavily on Gray's team this year, as they try to go for a historic four-peat in 2A this winter.
