Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RIState Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK— State Police reports in the RI Trooper Log between June 16 and June 22 involved charges for DUI, missed court appearances and fentanyl possession, most stemming from traffic stops throughout the state.

Here are the available details of those arrests:

No contact order violation At 1 p.m. June 19 troopers arrested Joseph Boutin, 49, of 243 Plainfield Pike, Scituate, Rhode Island, for Violation of a No Contact Order. The arrest was the result of a call for service from the Capital Police in reference to the violation at Third Division District Court in the City of Warwick.

Boutin was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later arraigned at Third Division District Court.

Missed court, suspended license On June 19, at 11:52 p.m., troopers arrested John Choinere, 41, of 284 Greenville Avenue Johnston, RI for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License, originating from the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Laurel Hill Avenue in the City of Providence. Subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.

Rte. 95 stop, DUI arrest At 1:36 a.m., troopers arrested Robert Ranalli, 22, of 117 Brookside Ave., West Warwick, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense / B.A.C. .15 or Greater.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.

Missed court, suspended license On Friday, June 21, at 12:37 a.m., troopers arrested Fernando Torres, 30, of 1515 West Shore Road, Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Sixth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on the charge of driving without a license originating out of the Barrington Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Calder Street, in the City of Providence. Torres was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and then released.

Highway stop, DUI arrest At 5:06 p.m. June 21, troopers arrested Jennifer Gurwitz, 50, of 135 Woodbridge Drive, East Greenwich, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense / B.A.C. Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later released into the custody of a responsible adult.

At 9:53 a.m. June 22, Troopers arrested Adam M. Mahoney, 34, of 360 Oakridge Ave., North Attleboro, Massachusetts for a Sixth Division Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95N in Warwick. Mahoney was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center.

West Warwick stop, fentanyl possession At 1:30 p.m. June 22, Troopers arrested Joglys Toribio Age: 28 of 83 Beaufort St. Apt: 3F, Providence, Rhode Island for Possession with Intent to Deliver – Schedule II (fentanyl).

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street, in the Town of West Warwick. Toribio was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute Men’s Intake Center.

DUI arrest, Rte. 95 At 12:51 a.m. June 22, troopers arrested Serina Velez, 28 of 50 Church Ave., Warwick RI for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating and or Drugs – 1st Offense, .10 – .15. Phase I (.112) and Phase II (.112).

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by Justice of the Robinson and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
