Bear pair scare at Navarre Park

NAVARRE, Fla. (WEAR-TV) — Two special visitors were caught on camera hanging from pine trees at a park in Santa Rosa County prompting officials to close the park.

According to Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office (SRCSO), two bears were seen hanging out and climbing pine trees at Navarre Park on Friday.

We were told one of the furry duos is believed to be a baby bear.

Santa Rosa County says, Navarre Park will be closed for the remainder of the day as Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission monitor the bear's activities.
