Tuesday - Nationwide Forecast
A long trough that extends from West Himalayas to Himalayas will basically stay over the Sub-Himalayan Range.
Heavy rain is likely over northern Arunachal Pradesh, southern Odisha, southern Chhattisgarh, eastern Maharashtra and southern Kerala.
Widespread thunderstorms are expected over Konkan coast, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, eastern Maharashtra and NCR (night).
Fairly widespread thunderstorms are possible over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
Wednesday and Beyond - Nationwide Forecast
A cyclonic circulation near Odisha will move west, and it will reach Rajasthan in 3 days. Then, it will alter its course to north and move to NCR by the weekend, weakened in power.
Convection on the Konkan Coast due to the convergence of the westerly winds from the Arabian Sea is expected to continue at least until Friday.
Heavy rains are expected in Maharashtra until Thursday morning, and the state border between Rajasthan and Maharashtra until Friday night. On Thursday morning, an alert for torrential rain with thunderstorms will be necessary.
Max temperatures will be 4 to 8 degree Celsius lower over Punjab, Haryana and Delhi from Wednesday, and over Rajasthan from Thursday. Max temperature in Delhi will be 30 - 32 degree Celsius from Wednesday.
