A western disturbance located over Afghanistan and adjoining area will bring isolated to scattered snow or rain over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on Tuesday.
Another fresh, feeble western disturbance shall bring isolated snow or rain over the western Himalayan region on Thursday and Friday.
Humid easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal and westerly winds will converge over central and eastern India in this forecast period. The convergence and induced cyclonic circulation will cause instability and produce isolated to scattered rain and thunderstorms over central and eastern India on Tuesday. The cyclonic circulation will gradually intensify on Thursday, and produce scattered to fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms over central and Eastern India from Thursday to Saturday.
A cyclonic circulation is located over Arunachal Pradesh and adjoining areas, and will produce isolated rain or snow over northeastern India on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Dry weather is likely over other areas in this period.
Low temperature trend over north India persists in this forecast period. Maximum temperatures are -1°C to -4°C or less lower than average over northern, north-central and northeastern Indian states in this forecast period. It will be much colder over eastern India and the western Himalayan region from Friday. Maximum temperatures over southern India are near normal or slightly higher than average in this period.
Minimum temperatures are near average or slightly lower than average over northern, north-central and northeastern India in this period.

Isolated snow/rain is possible over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. Isolated rain has been forecast over east Uttar Pradesh, west Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
Dry weather is likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
