The southeasterly humid winds from the Bay of Bengal and the northwesterly wind will converge over central and eastern India until Sunday evening. The convergence shall produce isolated to fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms over central, eastern, and north-southern India on Saturday and Sunday.
A cyclonic circulation is over Arunachal Pradesh and adjoining areas, and will produce isolated to scattered rain or snow over north eastern India in this forecast period.
A fresh Western Disturbance will affect the Western Himalayan Region from Tuesday.
Dry weather is likely over other areas in this period.
Low temperature trend over north India will persist in this forecast period. Maximum temperatures will be -1°C to -4°C or less lower than average over northern India, north-central India and northeastern India in this forecast period. Particularly, maximum temperatures over some areas of eastern India will be -8°C or less lower than normal on Saturday and Sunday. However, maximum temperatures are forecast to go up gradually over all of India from Monday.
Minimum temperatures will be near average or slightly lower than average over north India in this period. Minimum temperatures over Eastern India will be lower than average in this period.

Dense fog is likely over Punjab and Odisha.
Cold wave conditions have been forecast over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan.
Fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected over Odisha. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely over Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Isolated snow/rain is possible over Arunachal Pradesh. Isolated rain is expected over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Jharkhand, east Madhya Pradesh, interior Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
Dry weather is on the cards for Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, coastal Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Scattered rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Andhra Pradesh.
