Body of missing Canadian man washes ashore in Maine

ROBBINSTON (WGME) -- The body of a missing Canadian man has been found in Maine.

The Bangor Daily News reports that officials found the 64-year-old's body on a beach in Robbinston on Tuesday after he was reported missing on July 3.

Body washes ashore in Washington County

The BDN says since there's no indication he died in Maine and Canadian police will handle the case.

The man’s name was not released.

Robbinston is in Washington County and is located west of Saint Andrews, almost directly across the St. Croix River.
