Front line workers at both the Haverhill campus of Holy Family Hospital and Lawrence General Hospital were treated Monday to Harrows Chicken Pies to say thanks for their service during the current pandemic.

Coordinated by the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, Dan and Wally Arsenault of Harrows Chicken Pies distributed 100 single-serve pies. In Haverhill, Holy Family Hospital’s Chief Operating Officer Bridget Stewart accepted the gifts.

“The community has been amazing. We’re so fortunate to live in such a community that celebrates and treats out healthcare heroes with such compassion and with outpouring of support, and we’re really fortunate to live in this community and be working in this community,” she said.

Merrimack Valley Chamber President Joseph J. Bevilacqua said the business community wants to help.

“What this is really, just simply saying thank you to the nurses and doctors and all of the support people here at the hospital. Harrows donated to both Lawrence General Hospital earlier and we came to Haverhill for Holy Family. It’s just a great way to say thank you,” said Bevilacqua.

Harrows Chicken Pies operates six stores with one in Methuen. Dan Arsenault said he is pleased his company could contribute. “Feed a hundred people today—the healthcare workers. We want to do what we can to help everybody out,” he explained.
