BOSTON (WHDH) - One person was hospitalized following a stabbing in Roxbury early Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews responding to a reported stabbing near Dudley Street and Malcolm X Boulevard around 12:30 a.m. found one person suffering from non-life-threatening injuries, according to Boston police.

They were transported to an area hospital, where their current condition has not been released.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Authorities are seeking a complaint for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in Roxbury District Court for the suspect.

The stabbing remains under investigation.
