An animal rescue based in Virginia is hoping to capitalize on the Nationals' World Series run, and find a home for a husky mix who resembles starting pitcher Max Scherzer.

Miah is a three-year-old "happy girl who easily makes friends with anyone!" the Homeless Animals Rescue Team wrote on Facebook Wednesday.

She also has one blue eye and one brown eye, a condition known as Heterochromia iridis that she shares with Scherzer.

"She is still learning some basic manners, but is definitely a crowd pleaser. Miah is a little awkward around other dogs and might be best as an only dog, but would do great with someone who has had experience with strong willed pups. She is incredibly smart and loving and would love nothing more than going on hikes with you and watching her boy Scherzer, win the World Series!"

According to the Associated Press, Scherzer actually already has two adopted dogs with Heterochromia iridis. Maybe he wants a third?
