This cautionary tale of lies, speeding and possibly drugs on a creepy tinder date will leave you scratching your head.

Earlier this week 21-year-old, Colton Morris was pulled over for doing 109 MPH in a 45 MPH zone on U.S. 20 in Portage, Indiana.  That's crazy enough by itself.  But then there's what the Portage police found out after pulling Morris over that makes this story completely bonkers.

When the officer asked Morris why he was going 64 MPH above the speed limit his first response was, "I don't think I was going that fast."  Then he gave the officers a simple explanation as to why he was speeding according to NWI.com,

Colton Morris, 21, initially told police he was speeding because his girlfriend Grace, who was a passenger in the car, was sick and needed food, police said.

That's when the story gets interesting.  The passenger was not his girlfriend.  She told the police that she was his Tinder date and they just met 15 minutes ago at a nearby hotel.  The 21-year-old Hobart, Indiana woman went on to tell the police that she voiced her concern to Morris about his speed and he responded by telling her that he has many traffic tickets.  She also told police that he threw an unknown object out of his window when he noticed the police were following him.

Morris was arrested for misdemeanor counts of criminal recklessness with a vehicle, false informing and reckless driving.  No word on if she'll go on a second date with him.
