6-year-old Owen Colley from Hingham, Massachusetts, was very upset to learn so many animals had been hurt in the Australian wildfires. He decided to do something about it!

He began making these adorable little gray koalas out of clay that you see in the photo above. He’s giving one to every person who donates $50.

The $50 will go to a wildlife rescue group.

According to Fox, Owen's parents Simon and Caitlin set up a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of raising $5,000. Apparently, they should have set their sights higher. In just over a week they have raised over $250,000 and that number continues to climb.

Obviously Owen can't quit the first grade and make clay koalas full time! So the people who donate now will not be receiving one. Donations are still encourages as it is for an amazing cause and an amazing young man!
