Warriors are kitted out in style

Worcester Editorial 21st Aug, 2019   0

THE COUNTDOWN to the new rugby season continued with the launch of Worcester Warriors’ new home, away and cup shirts.

Warriors revealed their new look during an open training session at Sixways yesterday (Tuesday) as defence coach Omar Mouneimne put the first team squad through their paces in front of a large crowd of supporters.

The 2019/20 training range is charcoal, black and orange and these same colours are reflected in the cup shirt which is a modern pixelated graphic design.

Warriors will take to the field at Sixways in their classic blue and gold while the away jersey features a centralised stripe down the heart of the shirt.

The three shirts, along with training and leisurewear, were designed by Warriors’ kit partner VX3 in collaboration with players Ryan Mills and Nick Schonert, who were among the models at the launch.

Warriors Women will wear the new designs in the Tyrrells Premier 15s and England wing Lydia Thompson, England under-10s centre Meg Varley and scrum-half Brooke Bradley also featured at the launch.
