MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two officers and one man were injured after a car accident in South Memphis on Tuesday night while the officers were pursuing a carjacked vehicle.

Memphis Police said the accident happened at Florida and Belz around 7:30 p.m.

MPD said initially that both officers were taken to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition, while the other man was taken in critical condition.

About an hour later, Memphis Police said all people were in non-critical condition at the hospital.

Prior to the crash, the officers were following a silver Dodge Charger that was verified as carjacked. The suspect Charger evaded officers after the crash.

No arrests have been made, and this is on ongoing investigation.
