CHARLESTON, W.Va. — The state Department of Health and Human Resources reported three COVID-19 deaths Monday morning.
The DHHR confirmed the deaths of a 60-year-old Wyoming County woman along with an 84-year-old woman from Mineral County and a Brooke County woman who was 93.
“The passing of these three West Virginians is reported with great sadness and we extend our sympathies to their loved ones,” state DHHR Secretary Bill Crouch said.
There have now been 106 COVID-19 deaths.

Also in Monday morning’s report, the DHHR reported a 2.43 daily positive test rates after adding 39 new cases. Monday morning case numbers are typically lower following the weekend. The state has had 5,999 total cases since the pandemic began. Active cases are now at 1,703 and recovered cases at 4,191.
