Man killed in deadly motorcycle crash in south Lincoln identified

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police have identified a 23-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash in south Lincoln on Thursday night.
According to LPD, Brady Sweetser, 23, of Lincoln, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a Dodge Charger around 9:30 p.m. near Highway 2 and Pioneers Boulevard.
The LPD accident report states the Charger was driving eastbound on Highway 2 when it went to turn left onto Pioneers Boulevard.
While turning, officers said the car was struck on the front passenger side by the motorcycle driven by Sweetser.
Sweetser was thrown from his motorcycle. CPR was performed but he was pronounced dead on the scene.
A citation against the driver of the Dodge Charger is pending.
