Firearm stolen from vehicle in Lincoln

Lincoln Police said a firearm was stolen from a vehicle in the area of 27th Street and Old Cheney Road earlier this week.
LPD said on Sept. 16, a 30-year-old man reported he returned home and forgot his firearm in his vehicle.
The man said he heft his vehicle parked in his apartment parking lot near 27th and Old Cheney and later noticed the firearm was missing.
There were no signs of forced entry, police said.
