Lincoln police discover two grams of suspected meth during search of vehicle

Police say two men are facing charges after nearly 2 grams of meth was found Thursday morning.

According to police, just before 2:00 AM, officers contacted two suspects who quickly stopped and excited their vehicle after seeing officers in the area.

Police made contact with 41-year-old Jason Bower and 43-year-old Vincent Scotch near north 48th and Greenwood Avenue.

After searching the vehicle, officers found 1.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a suspected methamphetamine pipe.

Bower and Scotch were both cited and lodged for possession of a controlled substance.
