Lincoln woman scammed out of 8K

A Lincoln woman is out over $8,100 after falling victim to an online scam.
According to Lincoln police, a 78-year-old woman reported she went to update her subscription to clean her computer when she fell victim to the scam.
The woman told police she started chatting with an individual and they asked her to pull up her bank account information.
According to LPD, the woman eventually gave the scammer $8,100.
