While police said the teenager was not initially cooperating with investigators, officers are now working with the teen to learn what happened and identify any suspects.

According to police, officers found blood near Belmont Elementary on 14th Street. A witness reported seeing two boys fighting with another boy Thursday around 5:30 p.m. The witness told police the lone boy stabbed one of the other boys in the hand. The two males fled the scene as did the suspect.
