President Donald Trump is coming to metro Atlanta

Trump will be in the area on November 8, the Georgia Republican Party said.

ATLANTA — President Donald Trump will soon make another appearance in metro Atlanta.

In a statement released by a spokesperson for the Georgia Republican Party, the chairman said the president will be in there area on November 8.

The party, however, didn't disclose the location. They did say he would be greeted by business owners and community leaders.

“Under President Trump, Georgians are thriving. That's why the President will be greeted on November 8th with great enthusiasm by business owners and community leaders. President Trump’s campaign, the Republican National Committee, and the Georgia Republican Party continue to break fundraising records because voters are better off now than they were four years ago.” -Chairman David J. President Trump was in Atlanta earlier this year for a summit addressing the opioid crisis. He vowed to keep fighting the the epidemic that's become a big problem for many cities across the nation. 

Opioid abuse claimed a record of nearly 48,000 American lives in 2017. An estimated 2 million people are addicted to the drugs, which include both legal prescription pain medications and illegal drugs such as heroin.
