PHOENIX — A new entertainment venue is coming to downtown Phoenix and bringing with it plenty of food, drinks and social gaming.

Punch Bowl Social Phoenix will cover nearly 22,000 square-feet along Phoenix's beloved Roosevelt Row Arts District near 2nd and Roosevelt streets.

The venue, according to a release, will feature outdoor patio space, a 360-degree bar, award-winning food and drinks, and plenty of games for the whole party.

A release said the Phoenix location will have the brand's "distinctive design motif" while adding a little something extra to pay tribute to Phoenix's "unique character, history and location."

In a release, Punch Bowl Social founder Robert Thompson said Roosevelt Row was "at the top of our location wish list."

“We’re thrilled to play a part in the re-envisioning of downtown Phoenix as well as its future growth and sustainability,” Thompson said in a release. “We liked the idea of moving into a long-vacant building and breathing new life and vitality to this corner of the neighborhood."

Visitors will be able to bowl, play ping pong, darts, board games, classic video games and mini-golf.

"In Punch Bowl Social fashion, the course will start and end at an epic bar where guests will enjoy craft cocktails and scratch-made sharable food," a release read.

Punch Bowl Social Phoenix will also feature private karaoke rooms.

The company opened its first location in Denver back in 2012 and now has 15 locations across the country.

The venue is expected to open in downtown Phoenix in the fall of 2019.
