Traffic Alert: Section of Wathen Lane in Henderson to close for bridge replacement

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the city of Henderson are planning to close the 6900 block of Wathen Lane to allow for the replacement of the existing bridge.
Construction work was tentatively scheduled to begin on Monday and end around November 14, weather permitting.
The work didn’t get underway as planned on Monday, but it could soon.
A detour will be marked.
