A Summit for Springdale's Future Developments

'Invest Springdale' is back for it's second consecutive year

Today, the second annual 'Invest Springdale' summit takes place at 1:00 at The Apollo on Emma. The event is a joint project of the Springdale Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Springdale Alliance. It will feature informative sessions on how investors can become involved in downtown Springdale, whether that means bringing a business, moving, or investing in another way. "If you're an individual that thinks that you might want to invest in downtown Springdale, start a business in downtown Springdale, or some way be a part of what's happening in downtown Springdale, 'Invest Springdale' is for you," said Jill Dabbs, the executive director of the Downtown Springdale Alliance. As downtown continues to grow and be revitalized, the summit offers an opportunity to learn how to get involved and be a part of that growth. "There's a lot of people out there that are wondering - 'How can I fit into downtown? How can I move my business to downtown? Maybe I want to live in downtown Springdale.' So, it just gives an opportunity to really talk about all that is going on, because there really is so much. And there's just one time a year that we can capture that energy," said Dabbs.Four new projects will be announced during today's event. One of those projects will be the Luther George Park redesign. Details on the other three will be announced this afternoon at the summit.
