Colorado Renaissance Festival 

LARKSPUR — Take a magical tour through time and legend at the 43rd annual Colorado Renaissance Festival. The village streets of the festival are full of artisans selling original art, fresh baked goods, roasted turkey legs, steak on a stake and much more. There will be jousting, comedy shows and a cast of hundreds walking and performing throughout the faire. The Renaissance Festival runs on weekends through the first weekend of August. Denver PrideFest 

DENVER — Denver's 2019 PrideFest arrives this weekend with a 5K race/walk, a parade, festival, worship service and much more. The Denver Pride 5K, which benefits Denver PrideFest and The Center on Colfax, begins Saturday at 9 a.m. at the State Capitol. Sunday's Coors Light Denver Pride Parade steps off from Cheeseman Park at 9:30 a.m. The PrideFest festival will take place Saturday and Sunday at Civic Center Park and admission is free. Juneteenth Music Festival 

DENVER — The Juneteenth Music Festival returns to Denver's Historic Five Points Neighborhood on Saturday and Sunday. The annual Juneteenth Parade kicks off the fun, with staging at 9 a.m. Saturday at Manual High School and step off set for 11 a.m. The music festival, located at 27th and Welton Street, will feature live music, a youth zone and hundreds of community vendors. The 12 p.m. DreamBig Awards Ceremony at the main stage on 25th and Welton Street will be followed by live music on multiple stages. Fiddler on the Roof 

DENVER — The newest touring production of Fiddler on the Roof has arrived in the Mile High City. Under the director of Tony Award-winner Barlett Sher, the new take on the beloved classic is a heartwarming story of fathers and daughters, husbands and wives and the timeless traditions that define faith and family. Featuring the theatre favorites including “Tradition,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker” and “To Life (L’Chaim),” Fiddler on the Roof will introduce a new generation to the uplifting celebration that raises its cup to joy. Fiddler on the Roof plays Denver’s Buell Theatre through Sunday. The Big Bounce America

ENGLEWOOD — The Big Bounce America tour returns to Colorado on Friday for the first of two weekends in Englewood. Catering to kids and adults alike, the 10,000-square-foot bounce castle (Guinness-certified as the largest in the world) includes a 900-foot-long obstacle course dubbed The Giant, giant maze, slides, basketball court, massive ball pit, confetti blasts, crazy dancing, climbing towers, and DJ. Country Jam 

MACK — The Western Slope is home to one of the largest country music festivals in America. Country Jam features four days of major country acts, food and drink vendors, shopping and camping. The festival runs from Thursday to Sunday. Among those on this weekend’s Country Jam lineup: Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt, Little Big Town, Alabama, Eli Young Band, Kelsea Ballerini, Walker Hayes, Tyler Rich, Cole Swindell, Lanco, Chris Janson, Rodney Atkins and many more. Pikes Peak Celtic Festival 

COLORADO SPRINGS — This year's Pikes Peak Celtic Festival will be at a new location at the Western Museum of Mining and Industry. The festival will be filled with the sounds of bagpipes, the smell of fish and chips, the sight of world champion Irish dancers and activities for every age. The massed bagpipe bands of the Western United States Pipe Band Association will be performing along with several Celtic rock bands. Celtic cuisine and beer will be available alongside arts and crafts vendors. The Pikes Peak Celtic Festival runs from Friday to Sunday. Tickets are available online at PikesPeakCelticFestival.com.

Denver BBQ Festival 

DENVER — Some of the country's most award-winning BBQ legends will be at Broncos Stadium at Mile High this weekend for the 2nd annual Denver BBQ Festival. Admission to the festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday is free with BBQ and beverages available to purchase. Located on the south lawn of the stadium, the festival will have live music, world-class pitmasters and restaurants from across the nation. Colorado BBQ Challenge 

FRISCO — The 26th annual Colorado BBQ Challenge kicks off with a concert Thursday night before two full days of barbecuing. The BBQ Challenge on Friday and Saturday features 70+ competitors, kids' activities, food sampling, demos, pig races and more. Whittle the Wood Rendezvous 

CRAIG — The 20th annual Whittle the Wood Rendezvous chainsaw and carving competition and festival will take over Craig this Father's Day weekend. Plan for four days of carving, arts and crafts and music at Loudy-Simpson Park beginning Wednesday. Competitive wood carving continues through Saturday with talented wood workers transforming wooden stumps into stunning works of art. The Wake the Whittler 5K and Family Fun Run — Moffat County's oldest annual race — is scheduled for 8 a.m. Saturday. WWE Live 

DENVER — WWE Superstars Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston and Charlotte Flair are among those headed to Colorado this weekend. FIBArk Whitewater Festival 

SALIDA — The nation's oldest whitewater festival begins Thursday in downtown Salida. This year marks the 71st anniversary of FIBArk — "First in Boating on the Arkansas"  which has been held every June since 1949. There are numerous land and water events including 5K and 10K races, kids fun run, mountain bike races, a parade, raft and kayak events and more. The festival and four days of music are free. Palisade Bluegrass and Roots Festival 

PALISADE — The Palisade Bluegrass & Roots Festival will bring some of the country’s top bluegrass artists as well as Colorado’s favorite emerging stars for a three-day festival on the Western Slope. Celebration of Summer 

BURLINGTON — Celebrate the season in Colorado at Burlington's Celebration of Summer. "Drag Main for the Midway” begins the festivities Friday night at 7 p.m. followed by a drive-in showing of American Graffiti at Old Town. Saturday's events include Car, Bike and Antique Tractor Show, family-friendly games and activities, food vendors, beer wagon, volleyball tournament and live music.

Kremmling Days 

KREMMLING — Kremmling is honoring its history and embracing tomorrow with the three-day Kremmling Days festival this weekend. The festival begins Friday with a Fireman's BBQ Dinner, live music, beer garden, vendors and kids' zone. A pancake breakfast begins the festivities on Saturday, followed by the Mustang Mile Race, parade, horseshoe tournament, live music, beer garden, kids' activities and more. Another pancake breakfast and community church service are planned for Sunday.

Starlight Spectacular Night Bike Ride 

COLORADO SPRINGS — The 25th annual Starlight Spectacular is a fun and family-friendly night-time bike ride. Saturday's festivities begin at 9 p.m. with pre-ride root beer and pizza at the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center. The Starlight Spectacular has rides through downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City and longer routes which travel through Garden of the Gods. Ride distances range between 16, 21 and 23 miles and now a 4-mile early family-oriented ride through the park. Adult, children and family registration is available online.

Fire Parade & Muster 

LITTLETON — Fire engine buffs will converge on Littleton on Saturday for the 34th annual Fire Truck Parade and Muster. This free and family-friendly event kicks off with a 9 a.m. parade at Bannock and Littleton Boulevard that will travel down Littleton's Main Street and "muster" from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Arapahoe Community College. There will be classic fire trucks, modern fire engines, free fire truck rides, a kids' fire safety obstacle course and aerial platform trucks will hoist their ladders sky-high to spray water on the crowds below.

Erie Downtown Neighborhood Block Party 

ERIE — Erie’s family-friendly neighborhood block party opens at 6 p.m. Friday on Briggs Street. The event offers local live music from Petty Fools, food trucks, adult beverages and kids’ activities.

Highlands Street Fair 

DENVER — The 37th annual Highlands Street Fair will kick off summer in the Highlands Square neighborhood this weekend. Stretching down W. 32nd Avenue between Perry and Irving Streets, the block party offers local artisans, live music, kids’ play zone, and more. Admission is free to the fair which will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.  Saturday.

Monument’s 140th Birthday Celebration 

MONUMENT — Originally founded in 1879, Monument will celebrate 140 years as a community with this weekend’s celebration. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, downtown Monument’s Limbach Park will have live music from Latigo, food and ice cream for sale, dunk tank, pie-eating contest, corn hole, games and more.

Glenn Miller Orchestra 

COLORADO SPRINGS — The world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra returns to Colorado Springs for a performance at Pikes Peak Center on Sunday. Performing their timeless classics such as "In the Mood," "Moonlight Serenade," "Chattanooga Choo Choo," "Pennsylvania 6-5000," "A String of Pearls" and "Tuxedo Junction," the Glenn Miller Orchestra is still going strong 80 years after being founded. Shakespeare in the Sangres's Hamlet 

WESTCLIFFE — Enjoy an evening of Shakespeare with the Westcliffe Center for the Performing Arts in an outdoor amphitheater, watching the sun set over the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. This weekend, the center will debut a production of Hamlet at the outdoor Feedstore Amphitheater Park in Westcliffe. In addition to being the world’s most famous play four hundred years after its original performanceHamlet is still Shakespeare’s most-celebrated work. The Wolves 

GREELEY — Little Theatre of the Rockies opens its production of 2017 Pulitzer Prize nominee The Wolves this weekend. The drama from the University of Northern Colorado School of Theatre Arts and Dance’s professional summer stock company is a portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine female American athletes. The Wolves opens Thursday and plays the Norton Theatre through Sunday, June 23. My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra  

LAKEWOOD — The newest production from Performance Now Theatre Company opens Friday night at the Lakewood Cultural Center. My Way is a musical revue that celebrates Frank Sinatra’s music, style, mystique and myth. 1940s WWII Era Ball 

BOULDER — The 11th annual 1940s WWII Era Ball will transport guests back to simpler times through music, costumes, a pin-up girl contest, food, drinks and dancing. The Glenn Miller Orchestra and other vintage acts and big bands will provide the music for this USO-style event with dancing under the starts amongs WWII planes, flybys, vehicles and re-enactors. The hangar at Boulder Muncipal Airport will be transformed in to Casablanca’s Rick’s Café American with belly dancers, movie set lights and roulette table. EADS — National Parks Guide John Launius will lead a guided tour at Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site on Saturday at 10 a.m. The 90-minute tour will focus on events that unfolded in the late 1850’s and 1860’s, culminating in the Sand Creek Massacre as well as information following the massacre. Manitou Silent Disco Dance Party + Food Truck Rally 

MANITOU SPRINGS — Get your groove on at Manitou Springs’ Silent Disco and Food Truck Rally on Saturday. The Food Truck Rally runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. with vendors, activities, eats and drinks. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., visitors can dance the night away to three different DJ’s on the laser-light, silent-disco dance floor at Soda Springs Park Pavillion. Bluegrass & Bourbon Week 

ARVADA — Bluegrass, bourbon, and beer-lovers will be in Arvada this weekend for the 1st annual Bluegrass & Bourbon Week. The music starts at 6 p.m. each night at The Bluegrass Coffee & Bourbon Lounge with free admission for bluegrass music, cocktails, drink specials, rare bourbons, giveaways, Odyssey Beerwerks drafts and dueling bands this weekend. The lounge and Arvada Police Department will be collecting donations for the Ralston House Charity, which helps child victims heal from abuse. Men Who Grill 

DURANGO — The 16th annual Men Who Grill kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday at Durango’s Buckley Park. The family-friendly event offers all-you-can-eat grilled creations, live music from the Kirk James Blues Band and suds from Steamworks Brewing. Food Truck Rodeo 

AURORA — The City of Aurora’s Summer in the City event schedule begins with a food truck rodeo on Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food trucks will offer everything from cheese-covered fries to healthy salads. The event takes place at the Aurora Municipal Center.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres 

DENVER — The Colorado Rockies continue their homestand this weekend with a four-game series with the San Diego Padres. The first 15,000 fans, 18 and older, to Saturday’s game will receive drink tumblers and the first 15,000 fans to Sunday’s game will snag a Father’s Day hat. The Padres series begins Thursday night and wraps up Sunday afternoon, with tickets sold through Rockies.com/Tickets.

Evergreen Rodeo 

EVERGREEN — Father's Day weekend means it is rodeo weekend in beautiful Evergreen. A parade steps off on Saturday at 10 a.m. in downtown Evergreen with the theme of "Celebrating Our Western Mountain Heritage." The parade will have more than 100 entries including marching bands, floats, horses, carriages, antique cars and farm equipment. Rodeo performances will take place Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon at the El Pinal Rodeo Grounds on Highway 74 at Stagecoach Blvd. Tickets are available online at EvergreenRodeo.com.

Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad 

ANTONITO — Experience Colorado this weekend in one of the most unique ways possible aboard the historic Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. The railroad travels for 64 miles between Chama, New Mexico and Antonito, Colorado. It's the longest and highest steam railroad in the nation and the most scenic - it crosses the border of Colorado and New Mexico 11 times as it chugs its way up and over 10,015-foot Cumbres Pass. Rails & Ales Brewfest 

ALAMOSA — The annual Rails & Ales Brewfest combines classic rail equipment, a rustic Rocky Mountain setting, live music and handcrafted brews. The Rio Grande Scenic Railroad train departs at 10 a.m. Saturday for a Colorado experience like no other. The event is for those 21 and older, with no children or infants allowed. Hops and Harley 

BERTHOUD — Local nonprofit Harley’s Dream and City Star Brewing will host the 7th Annual Hops & Harley Festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Fickel Park in downtown Berthoud. The dog-friendly community festival benefits Harley’s Dream and features craft beer, live music, food trucks, dog agility, vendors, kids’ activities and more. Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup 

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — This weekend’s Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup will bring more than 450 Mustangs to Steamboat Springs. The car show will take place on Yampa Street in downtown Steamboat Springs on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. The Mustangs will be judged on the car’s engine, interior, exterior, wheels/tires and overall appearance. Classic Rock Cruise In 

CASTLE ROCK — The 11th annual Classic Rock Cruise In Car Show Street Party and Concert kicks off a weekend of horsepower at 6 p.m. Friday night in downtown Castle Rock. The Castle Rock Cruise In will then transform historic downtown Castle Rock into a showplace of cool cars, trucks and specialty vehicles on Saturday. The event offers cars, shops, live music, restaurants, attractions for the kids, Festival Park and specialty vendor booths.  

Pagosa Springs Car Show 

PAGOSA SPRINGS — The 11th annual Car Show in Pagosa is a lively weekend filled with the sights and sounds of classic cars. The free, family-friendly event begins Friday at 5 p.m. in the Town Park Athletic Field with Party in the Park giving spectators their first glimpse of classic cars, plus food, drinks and live music from Brooks-i band. The Show and Shine will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday with live music provided by Retro Cats.  

Father's Day Car Show 

GRAND JUNCTION — Graff Dairy hosts Saturday’s Father’s Day Car Show in Grand Junction. The free event features music, hot dogs, BBQ, soft serve ice cream (free for dads) and classic cars. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Graff Dairy at 581 29 Road.

Father's Day Super Sunday Monster Truck Show

Monster Truck Racing League 

SALIDA — The Chaffee County Fairgrounds welcome the Monster Truck Racing League for a high-flying show on Saturday. Five of the biggest and best Monster Truck Racing League trucks including Rat Attack, Unnamed & Untamed, Sniper and more will be performing on the huge outdoor course as they compete to earn points towards the 2019 national championship. O'Reilly No Limits Monster Trucks 

EAGLE — No Limits Monster Trucks invade Eagle County Fairgrounds for two thunderous shows this Saturday. The No Limits Monster Trucks and Figure 8 Demo Derby also features two 30-foot, flame-throwing, rocket-firing, transforming robots in a fight to the death. Gold Panning Championships

BRECKENRIDGE — Breck’s Blue River Plaza will be home to three days of historical fun this weekend. The Gold Prospectors of Colorado will host the Gold Panning Championships on Friday, Saturday and Sunday where everyone is invited to come learn the basics of gold panning and all necessary tools will be provided. The event is free and open to the public to watch and participate as the Gold Panning Championships unfold on Main Street.

Repticon

AURORA — Reptile and exotic pet lovers, breeders and educators won't want to miss this weekend's Repticon. The event will feature thousands of reptiles and other exotic pets and advice directly from top quality breeders. You'll be able to see live reptiles up close at animal encounters and seminars on the hour each day. Repticon is set for Saturday and Sunday at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds.

Festival of Quilts 

ENGLEWOOD — The largest quilt show in the Denver area takes place Friday and Saturday. Festival of Quilts opens at 9 a.m. each day at First Plymouth Congregational Church at 3501 S. Cruiser Rocks  

DENVER — Dust off your bicycles for this annual Denver event. Cruiser Rocks is a block party on bikes that ride through Denver’s Washington Park neighborhood. The ride is open to anyone 21 or over and all bikes are welcome. Cruiser Rocks also offers music, big wheel races, giant beer pong, tire toss, raffle prizes and more. Estes Park Marathon 

ESTES PARK — Runners of all abilities can head to Estes Park this weekend for a series of running events. Considered one of America's most scenic marathon courses, the Estes Park Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, as is the Half Marathon, 10K and 5K races. Registration for all events is available online at EPMarathon.org. The "Kids, Kids, Kids: Bike, Run, Fun!” Festival will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Estes Park Track and Field (adjacent to the high school) with live music, games, face painting, bouncing obstacles, bikes, a running event and interactive educational activities.

Gluten Free Gallop 5K 

LITTLETON — The NCA Denver Celiac Support Group’s 8th annual Gluten Free Gallop 5K run/walk takes place at Littleton’s Clement Park at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The event aims to raise awareness of Celiac Disease and gluten-related disorders. The run/walk is family-friendly, dog-friendly and stroller-friendly. After the event there will be goodies from the race sponsors as well as gluten free beer, music, kids’ activities, raffle and more. Register now at RunningGuru.com.

Bacon Burner 6K

FRISCO — Before participants eat BBQ this weekend in Frisco, they can get in a little fitness with the Bacon Burner 6K. The 3.8-mile out-and-back run begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Frisco Marina. Racers will receive a piece of commemorative Bacon Burner apparel and those 21 and older will receive a free beer tiket to redeem at the Frisco’s Colorado BBQ Challenge. Denver Pride 5K  

DENVER — Part of this weekend’s Denver PrideFest festivities, the Denver Pride 5K steps off at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Colorado State Capitol Building. Proceeds from the run will be used to support The Center on Colfax’s youth center, health services and social support groups. For registration and donation information, visit DenverPride.org.

Father's Day 5K 

FORT COLLINS — The 22nd annual Father’s Day 5K will begin at 8 a.m. at Foothills Mall in midtown Fort Collins. In addition to the family-friendly 5K, there will be a one-mile kids run. A post-race party will offer local beer, food and live music. Registration can be completed online.  

Father’s Day Classic 10 Miler & 5K/10K 

ARVADA — One of Arvada’s favorite events is back on Father’s Day at APEX Center. The Father’s Day Classic features 10 mile, 5K and 10K events, plus a one-mile out-and-back fun run/walk. Following the races is the free Father’s Day Car Show in the APEX Center parking area. All are welcome at Sunday’s events including walkers, joggers and speed demons. 

Paws and Sneakers 5K Walk/Run 

WINDSOR — The Humane Society of Weld County hosts the 31st annual Paws and Sneakers event on Saturday. Proceeds from the 5K run or walk go towards giving lost and unwanted animals a new leash on life. The fun run/walk will step off at 9 a.m. at Windsor’s Boardwalk Park. Field of Dreams 

COLORADO — One of the all-time father-son movies is returning to movie theaters nationwide for two days only beginning Sunday. Field of Dreams will mark its 30th anniversary by returning to theaters on Father’s Day and Tuesday. Starring Kevin Costner, James Earl Jones, Ray Liotta, Amy Madigan and Burt Lancaster, Field of Dreams was first released in April 1989. In its 30 years, the film has become synonymous with baseball. The movie tells the story of an Iowa farmer (Costner) who builds a baseball field in his cornfields after hearing a voice he can't ignore. Tickets can be purchased at FathomEvents.com or at participating theater box offices.
