A Turkish relief organization dug a well in Cameroon to provide clean water to 3,000 people.
Heybe Humanitarian Relief Organization, an Istanbul-based charity group, has dug the 18th well in the central African nation in 2018.
Speaking to Anadolu agency, Yasin Karayel, president of the foundation, said they will continue to provide clean water to local people.
“We have dug water wells in Cameroon, Benin, Bangladesh, and Sierra Leone. Shortage of water is the major problem in these areas. We are digging wells with the help of the generous people to solve the water problems of their brothers and sisters in other regions," he said.
The foundation continues working in Africa with an aim to solve the water problem in some parts of the continent.
