PHOENIX — Authorities have arrested a woman for driving into a group of police officers in a gas station parking lot.

Police say two officers were in one car and one officer was in between the parked patrol vehicles at the QuikTrip near 16th Street and Baseline Road on June 4.

Around 11:45 p.m., police say Lori Relf accelerated in a 2011 Kia Soul and crashed into the group. One officer suffered a possible broken nose and another was cut on the back of the head, according to court paperwork.

Police say Relf admitted to smoking crack cocaine about two hours before driving into the officers. She told investigators she crashed into the patrol vehicles to get the officers' attention, as she claimed she was being held against her will by two passengers in her car.

Police say surveillance video from the store shows one of the men buy Relf a drink while she went to the bathroom. Police say Relf was alone inside the store for enough time that she could have left and walked to notify the officers.

Both of the men with Relf admitted to smoking crack with her, but denied holding her against her will, according to a probable cause statement.

Relf was arrested on three counts of aggravated assault on a peace officer, among other charges.
