Five people were stabbed or cut when a large fight broke out at a Harrisburg bar early Sunday, city police said.

Officers were called to UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg around 1:20 a.m. when two people sought treatment for stab wounds. A few minutes later, three others entered the hospital seeking treatment for lacerations.

Investigators learned the victims were injured when a large fight broke out on the third floor of Bridges Social Club, in the 300 block of North Second Street.

Club owners said the stabbings didn’t happen on their property.

“We are still trying to determine where everyone was when this occurred,” police Captain Gabriel Olivera said. “It appears the individuals were on the floor, so to speak, so we have to investigate that more.”

None of the injuries are life-threatening, police said.
