HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Harrisburg man will serve up to 20 years in prison for firing a gun into a crowded city bar.

Richard Aycock, 29, was ordered to serve 117 to 234 months in state prison at his sentencing Friday in Dauphin County Court. He was convicted in February of three felony firearms offenses and related crimes.

The district attorney’s office said Aycock in October 2017 pointed a gun at a bartender who stopped serving him. After he was kicked out by bouncers, Aycock stumbled down a set of stairs, then fired a round through the front door in retaliation.
