The priceless historic doors burned in an arson at Lancaster City Hall have been replaced with reproductions.

The new walnut doors with intricate details were unveiled during a small ceremony Tuesday. They’re an exact replica of the original doors installed on City Hall in the 1930’s.

Officials said it took more than 300 hours of work to get the new doors looking like the originals.

Two men charged with setting the May 23 fire are awaiting trial.
