SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – A new app to help homeowners who need lawncare easily find local professionals looking for work recently launched its service in Salt Lake City.

The Nashville based company, GreenPal, says homeowners can list their request for lawn service, along with the date they want it done and any additional lawn care needs on the app.

Lawn care professionals then bid on the properties based on the location and images and details the homeowner provides, including photos.

Homeowners can then select who they want to work with based on vendor’s ratings, reviews, and price.

Once the lawn care service is done, the company sends a time-stamped photo of the completed work to the homeowner who then pays through the app and can schedule additional appointments.

Greenpal officially launched in Salt Lake City on April 17. For more information about the service, you can visit GreenPal’s website.

Company officials said it is already being used in 30 states by more than 750,000 homeowners and the app has been launched in nearly 85 markets around the U.S., including Tampa, Houston, Atlanta, Miami and San Diego.
