A former Alabama commit is now committed to a different SEC West program.
De’Rickey Wright, a three-star athlete from Gadsden, committed to Ole Miss Saturday afternoon, five days after decommitting from the Crimson Tide.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Wright is the 26th-best athlete and 388th-best overall player in the 2020 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
